The product
K12 Professional Development Tracker came out of the problem, not out of a product plan.
In 2009 a district's professional development record was paper forms in a folder in the office, a spreadsheet only one person maintained, approvals buried in an email thread, and sign-in sheets retyped after the event. Every one of those worked, right up to the point where somebody had to answer a question about a year that had already happened.
K12 Professional Development Tracker was built to be the one place all of that lives instead. Staff submit a request from whatever device is in their hand and attach the evidence to it. A committee reviews a queue rather than an inbox. Totals are calculated from the approved record instead of maintained by hand. When a license comes up for renewal, the year is already assembled.
Today that is ten modules: professional development requests, Growth Plans (IPDPs), licenses, your own course catalog, a document portfolio, review workflows, district customization, staff profiles, reporting, and role-based access. Every district gets all ten, at one price, with nothing to unlock later. The platform page walks through each of them.
Who builds it
Patacca Services LLC, in business since April 4, 2005.
We are a technology services company with roots in New Philadelphia, Ohio. The business started with helping friends and family and grew into a full IT practice serving individuals, schools and enterprise clients.
K12 Professional Development Tracker is the education product that came out of that work. The same people who answer the phone about a wireless network answer it about a Growth Plan (IPDP), which is why support here is a person rather than a queue.

What we believe
Technology should be accessible, intuitive and empowering, for every level of user.
That is not a slogan about software in general. It is the test we apply to this one: a teacher who uses K12 Professional Development Tracker four times a year should not need training to use it the fourth time, and a committee member who volunteered for a committee should not have inherited a second job. Where the application fails that test, tell us. The contact form reaches a person, and so does 1.844.587.4440.
How to reach us
